Upton Resident Organizes Toy Drive

img-20161212-wa0008The Bentley MBA cohort class of 2017 held a toy drive organized by Upton resident and MBA student Fernanda Goncalves Madrona. New toys for children between the ages of 0 to 15 were collected and brought to Timothy’s Toy box, a nonprofit located in Framingham, MA on Saturday 12/10. Timothy was only 3 years old when he founded the organization. The toys will be donated to local children in need, who would not receive any gifts otherwise.

“Most of the students in class expressed how much we value giving back to the community, therefore a toy drive is a great way to concretize this value while helping those who are less fortunate” said Madrona.
