Come to the 50th year the Upton community has celebrated Independence Day with a fun filled family outing and a spectacular fireworks display.

The Upton Men’s Club (UMC) Annual Fireworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 24. The year’s events will take place from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Blackstone Valley Tech located on Pleasant Street in Upton. Rain date is Sunday, June 25.

Last year the event brought in over 5000 people who, as always, enjoyed the best fireworks display put on in this area.

This year’s performers are Upton’s own Tim Buono. Tim was recently named Country 102.5 Catch of the Week. He will be on stage from 4-5 p.m. SnG will be live from 5:30 -9:30 p.m. The SnG Band plays fun danceable music from all eras.

There will also be an inflatable park and face painting.

The Fireworks Display is funded 100% by donations. All funds raised at the Festival help the Upton Men’s Club fund above and beyond programs in the town of Upton that would not otherwise be possible, such as monthly dinners at the Senior Center, ‘Community Service’ scholarships for graduating students, school program assistance, food pantry support, and many other areas of need within our community.
