Funds Set Up For Milford Fire Victims

On March 27 a house fire destroyed a home on Water St. in Milford leaving 7 people homeless; a family of 6 who resided on the first floor and a woman and her dog who resided on the second floor.

Funds have been set up at Milford Federal Savings & Loan for both the Adigun family and Sheryl Rice. Donations can be mailed to Milford Federal Savings and Loan, 256 Main St., Milford, MA Attn: Customer Service. Checks can be made payable to the “Sheryl Rice Fire Fund” and “Adigun Fire Fund.”

The fire started when a laptop which was placed on a stack of cardboard to charge overnight overheated. The residents escaped without harm. Three firemen sustained minor injuries.
