Social media is buzzing about a marriage proposal at the Rose Garden. A large sign was outside the Rose Garden yesterday and this morning which read, “K L will you marry me?”
People want to know who is K L? Did she say yes? Some worried, did she see the sign?
Some were concerned K L might read about the proposal on social media before she actually saw the sign.
All hoped she would say YES!
But who is K L? Who made this proposal?
Michael Campbell of the Rose Garden answered the questions today…. “April Fools!”
Michael thought long about what the Rose Garden was going to do this year and came up with the marriage proposal. K and L are his daughter’s initials. He is getting a kick out of the buzz his April fools joke is creating. Yesterday one customer with the initials KL, Kevin Libby, walked in and joked “are you proposing to me?”
For the romantics out there, stay strong, maybe one day there will be a real proposal at the Rose Garden.
As far as April fools jokes go, this one will be remembered for years to come. Good one Mike Campbell!
