On Friday, April 5th, from 7:00-900 pm, The 7th Annual Art in the Valley 2013 student art exhibition will be held at the Elmwood Street Elementary School, Millbury, MA. The event will begin with a reception, and will include greetings, tributes and light refreshments. The exhibition, featuring Grades K-8 student artwork, will continue on Sat., April 6th from 10:00-2:00pm.
Grades K-8 art teachers within the Blackstone Valley are submitting up to 15 pieces of art representing outstanding student achievement in Art. Family, friends, and the general public are invited to attend this amazing event to view incredible works created by these most talented students. The purpose of Art in the Valley is to provide a regional venue for presentation of Grades K-8 student works from schools within the Blackstone Valley, both public and private. In addition, it also supports the development of inventive minds, while highlighting our tremendous school art programs. Art in the Valley 2013 delivers an engaging and colorful event for Valley-wide pride.
