Parent Funded IPads for Grades 5-8 at Miscoe Hill

In the spring of 2013 the Mendon Upton School Committee will present to the parents of Miscoe Hill Middle School their plan for a parent funded IPad program for grades 5-8 to be implemented for the 2013/14 school year..

Parents will have two options to provide an IPad for their student at Micoe; a lease to purchase option through the school or provide their own.  Parents who opt to provide their own IPad will need to pay an annual fee for aps/electronic books. Students on free or reduced lunch will not be charged to lease the IPad. Parents will also have the option for a school use only program.

If the parents push back on the program the school committee will revisit their plan.
