On April 14th, V Organic Cafe & Art Gallery is having an ‘Art & Brunch’ Spring break celebration with some fun art activities for kids, teens and adults, including:
An ‘active display’ of Medieval-Renaissance Art and printmaking from 11am-2pm. Artist Andy V. will be dressed in period costume, displaying drawing materials which would have been used during the 1470-1600 period. Andy will discuss Renaissance Art and allow visitors to try their own hand at silverpint, brush and feather quill drawing and more. Andy’s own artwork, using many of these materials will be on display in the gallery all day.
- Art in progress with Kara. Local Artist Kara O. will be set up and creating quick artworks for sale on the spot. Watch her work, interact with her medium a bit and bid on her art works.
- Pen and Ink Artist Therea Gorman will discuss her technique and the art of ‘getting small’ as seen in her illustrations in the gallery.
