Dear Parents & Guardians,
This past week was remarkably difficult and stressful in terms of the Boston Marathon tragedy and the ensuing search for the bombing suspects. Since this event was local, I am certain that some of our families had connections to these events. As we ready for the return to school tomorrow, I want to reassure all of you on our efforts to ensure that any and all individual student needs are met.
Much like we did following the Newtown incident, our staff is prepared to speak with any student who requires additional support. We want to make sure that we are especially cognizant of the need for all students to feel safe and to have supports in place for any individual needs that arise. Any parent who believes that their son or daughter may need support is asked to reach out to your child’s principal, teacher and/or guidance counselor to make them aware of the potential need.
