Race of Rams – Duathlon, 5K, Kids Fun Run, Kids Duathlon – Sun May 5 Northbridge

RaceOfRams-copy-e1361414183847The 2012 Northbridge PTA 5k and Family Fun day has grown into the Race of Rams for 2013! Meet up at the Balmer School in Whitinsville, MA and participate in a Duathlon, 5k, Kids Fun Run, or Kids Off-Road Duathlon on Sunday May 5, 2013!

The Duathlon, new for 2013 and will kick-off the day’s events, will start with a 1.5 mile run from Balmer School in Whitinsville, MA, then participants will head out around town for a 9 mile ride, before finishing with a 2 mile run.  Although a shorter course, there is no shortage of hills so even the experienced racer will be challenged!

The 5k will be similar to the 2012 route, featuring a few steady uphills with a long downhill toward the finish line at Balmer School.

The Kids Fun Run will be around the soccer fields behind Balmer School.

The Kids Duathlon, new for 2013, will be held completely on the grounds of Balmer School and the adjoining fields.  This is an OFF-ROAD course on grass through a marked course.
