Runners are invited to hit the pavement in the name of education this Saturday in a 3.1-mile road race that starts and ends at Nipmuc Regional High School.
For the third year, the Mendon-Upton Regional Teachers Association is putting on its annual Run For Their Future 5K race. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors of Nipmuc Regional High School.
All ages are welcome to participate, although children under the age of 18 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian. Awards will be based on age groups.
Register early for $15 by dropping your registration off by Friday at Nipmuc Regional High School’s main office or register at 9:00 a.m. the day of the event for $20 in the NHS cafeteria. The first 100 participants to register will receive refreshments, t-shirts and koozies.
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Race start time: 10:00 a.m.
