Press Release from Upton Police Chief Bradley
On Monday, May 13th at approximately 3:10 p.m. the Upton Police Department responded to Kiwanis Beach Road to investigate a missing person.
During the investigation a body was recovered from Pratt Pond on Kiwanis Beach Road and has been identified as Sheryl Mayo, 48, of 10 Kiwanis Beach Road. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case. Her death remains under investigation by State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and the Upton Police Department.
