A Look Inside Nipmuc’s 20th After Prom Party

On May 17 the stunningly attired Nipmuc High School Students enjoyed dinner and dancing at Union Station for Prom. After Prom they were brought back to Nipmuc  High School for a magical evening at the “Night  Circus.”

The after prom committee dedicated hours of imagination and work to transform the school in to something special for the students with the main goal of keeping the kids safe on prom night. This year was no exception and the After Prom Committee would like to thank all of those who helped!

The Nipmuc High School’s 20^th After Prom Party recently held was a huge success, with over 300 students enjoying the festivities.  Nipmuc was transformed both inside and outside into a theme based on the book, Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern.  The event featured entertainment from Magic World, Tarot Card reader, Heather Whamond, and Roaming Magician, David Garrity.  Students that participated in the Fun Flips Photo Book booth left with a memorable souvenir.   In addition, the casino area was jam packed with students where they had the opportunity to win $25.00 gift cards to local businesses.  Volunteers within the refreshment area worked non-stop to keep the students fed and hydrated.   By 3:00 a.m., the students were seated within the auditorium for the hypnotist show featuring Frank Santos, Jr. which was followed by the End-Of-The Night Giveaways.  Donations received helped fund the free raffles and grand prizes including TV’s, Bose Dock systems, Bose headsets, Red Sox tickets, HP printers, gym memberships, golf outings, and more.  A special thanks to the parents who donated money to help defray the cost of the event and the parents who volunteered countless hours behind the scene as well as during the overnight event.
