The Friends of the Upton Library need YOU!
What Do the Friends of the Upton Town Library Actually Do? We help plan, support and raise funds for essential library programs and services, including the Summer Reading Program, the Museum Pass Program and other library needs throughout the year.
Who Can Be a Friend? Anyone, over the age of 21, who has an interest in supporting our library and in helping to ensure that its many programs and services continue to flourish. New to town? Joining the Friends is a great way to meet new people and learn more about our great community.
What is the Time Commitment? The Friends meet once a month for regular meetings. Currently, these meetings are held during the day and some members even bring their young children along with them. However, meeting times and dates can be changed to accommodate new members. In addition to monthly meetings, Friends often volunteer at library events throughout the year, especially during the Summer Reading Program and the Annual Fall Booksale.
How do I Become a Friend? Stop by the Friends’ table at the Summer Reading Theater Presentation at Nipmuc High School on Tuesday, June 25th; join us at our July Meeting at the Library at Tuesday, July 16th at 7:00 p.m. or contact Laura Nadolski, VP of the Friends, at dlski@charter.net
Your support can make a difference!
