Upton Selectmen Fleming Recognizes Fellow Selectmen Brochu and Picard

thankyouAt the June 18, 2013 selectmen meeting Upton Selectman Bob Fleming took a moment to recognize fellow selectmen Ken Picard and Jim Brochu. Fleming wanted the residents of Upton to know for the last week and and half both Selectmen Picard and Brochu have spent Saturdays, Sundays, and weeknights wiring the lower lower level of the former Holy Angels building. The wiring was needed in order for the Town Offices to transition to the space during the Town Hall Restoration Project. Picard and Brochu have been working on the wiring for no compensation. Fleming said “I think the citizens should be aware of it and you should be complimented for these efforts. I’d volunteer to help but I would only get in your way. It’s  a terrific gesture on your part and it shows your commitment to the town. Thank you very much on behalf of the town.
