Upton Votes in Special Election Today

voteTwo things happen today. Residents of Upton will vote in the special election for the US Senate seat between Republican Gabrial Gomez of Cohasset and Cong. Edward Markey of Malden and finally the annoying phone calls resident have been receiving will stop, hurray!

The winner will serve out the 18 months remaining in the term of Sen. John Kerry, who resigned when he became Secretary of State.

Voting takes place at Nipmuc Regional High School, 90 Pleasant Street between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
