I want to say a HUGE thank-you to all of you for supporting me in my second Tough Mudder event. Team Dirty Dozen survived 12+ miles, 21 obstacles, and 4 grueling trips to the summit of Gunstock Mountain in NH in 90-degree heat. Aside from the usual bumps and bruises, we crossed the finish line intact and smiling.
I am so very grateful and completely humbled by your donations, emails, phone calls, and words of support and encouragement. You helped me raise nearly $800 for the Wounded Warrior Project! Thanks to your generosity, this wonderful organization can continue to provide much-needed services to our nation’s military men and women. So far, Tough Mudder events across the U.S. have raised more than $5 million for the Wounded Warrior Project.
We are looking forward to earning our third orange headbands next year. Thank you once again for reminding me why it’s so wonderful to live in a small town where people care and make a difference every day.
This is a photo from the finish line which pretty much sums up our mood!
