Upton Baseball took home the hardware with an undefeated run through the 11U division at the Harold Johnson Memorial Baseball tournament in Uxbridge June 22nd-23rd.
Upton defeated Frontier 6-1 and Northbridge 9-6 on Saturday afternoon. They came back on Sunday to take care of Sutton 8-3, guaranteeing them a spot in the final against Milford.
The final was a tight game that Upton won 5-4. The team will be playing in the Western Mass. Cal Ripken District tournament in Milford July 6th-7th.
Team members are: Jack Charron, Andrew Griswold, Will Bruno, Aidan McEvoy, Myles Kierstead, Nolan Ballard, Cam Bern, Hayden Ramsey, Mike Iadarola, Andrew Murphy, Drew Galicki, and Calvin Todd. Coaches of the team are Mike McEvoy, Steve Griswold, Steve Bern, and Jeff Galicki. Julia Bern was the team bat-girl.
