White visiting Shaws Supermarket the other day I was pleased to learn you no longer need to dig out your loyalty card to receive the sales prices. The new owners of Shaws/Star Market have decided to ditch the loyalty card system allowing individual stores to set their own discount prices according to an article in BBJ. Having two Shaws stores in neighboring towns I wonder which store will have the better discounts? The new discount system went in to effect last weekend.
