Jen Swan, who teaches at the Worcester Art Museum, the Thinktank, and other Central Mass locations will be offering her popular art classes at Crossroads in Upton! Next week (7/15 – 7/19) join the fun for a creative week of art. They will make the most of sunny afternoons by working outside (indoors at Crossroads if weather doesn’t cooperate ) with pastels, paints and printing inks to capture the colors of summer and develop skills in drawing, color blending and composition.

7/15 Blind contour studies, mixed media drawing with single color
highlights, expressive mark making and playing with scale
7/16 Tonal studies: white on black
7/17 Pastel drawing of choice
7/18 Printmaking
7/19 Abstract landscapes: seeing patterns in nature, creating
perspective through size, line and tone
