Last Day to Register for Mendon Cardboard Boat Race – The 15th Taft Public Library Great Cardboard Boat Race will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 6:30pm, at the Mendon Town Beach. You don’t need to live in Mendon to participate but you do need to register at Taft Library in Mendon by 5 p.m. on Friday July 12

Story Time at A Little Common Sense – 10:30 a.m. – Join Miss Lisa on the front porch for a fun storytime on Saturday mornings this summer!
Flea Market VFW Upton – Route 140 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Several tables will feature homemade/handmade crafts. Other tables will offer new and used items at reasonable prices. Coffee, donuts , soda, water and soda will be available for purchase. There is no admission or parking charges.
Celebrate the CCC Legacy – 11 a.m. celebration, 1 p.m. hike. Come honor the men who laid the cornerstone for the Massachusetts State Parks system, and enjoy a day of fun. A recognition ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration at noon, with birthday cake and displays in the CCC Headquarters building. Upton State Forest, directions available in link.

This week V Organic’s featured artist is keyboardist/pianist 14 year old Carrick McCullough. He is amazing, you will feel as if you are at a top rated concert of a seasoned artist, don’t let his age fool you.
