There have been a series of break-ins and items stolen in Upton over the past few nights.
The the first neighborhood hit was Merriam Way, where items were taken from vehicles. The next night Florence Circle and Knowlton were hit,same situation items taken from cars. Last night Josiah Drive and Henry’s Path residents were the victims and not only were items stolen from cars but people also had items taken from their garages.
One resident on Henry’s Path reports hearing someone in their garage, they went downstairs, turned on the lights, banged around, and heard a person/people exit out the back door.
Money, purses, cell phones, GPS devices and other valuable items were taken.
The officer on duty advised to residents to be cautious and vigilant. Keep your car doors and garage doors locked. He also said not to leave valuable items in your cars.
The series of break-ins is currently being investigated by the Upton Police Department.

Upton Police are investigating motor vehicle breaks over the weekend in two areas of town – Josiah Drive/Henry’s Path and Merriam Way/Ephraim’s Way. Residents are reminded to remove valuable items and lock their vehicles. Please contact the Upton Police Department to report suspicious activity.
