On Sunday July 14 the Upton Recreation Commission sponsored A SUMMER CONCERT AT KIWANIS BEACH. Over 100 people attended the event with many families of all ages. The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band set up in the outfield of the softball field and entertained the crowd from 6 – 8 p.m. It was a warm summer evening and many children enjoyed a dip in Pratt Pond. The Upton Recreation Commission provided lifeguards for the event. Many families grilled or brought picnic baskets and enjoyed the evening of music while watching a spectacular sunset.
