Calling all gardeners, grocery shoppers, and good hearted residents of Upton. Next Thursday August, 8 and Friday, August 9th, Meri Borst is coordinating a produce drive for the Senior Citizens of Upton at the Senior Center.
Meri notes many seniors are on a fixed income and fresh fruits and veggies become a rare treat. Meri is asking for you to donate fresh fruits and/or veggies for the Seniors.
All donations are to be dropped off at the center on Thursday, August 8th from 9-2 or Friday morning from 9-11. The Upton Senior Center is prepared to accept the donations.
Meri is hoping this drive produces a “fruitful” day & thanks you in advance for your kindness.
