What did the animals do at Upton Town Library last night?

On the night of Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 49 children dropped off 49 stuffed animals to participate in Upton Town Library’s first-ever Stuffed Animal Sleepover Party. MELL (the Memorial Elementary Library Lion) joined in on the fun as well.

What happened overnight? Besides the shelf climbing and mischief, the stuffed animals enjoyed some pizza, watched a movie, climbed all of MELL, and of course enjoyed storytime.

The Upton Library would like to send a special thanks to their library staff–Sue, Jeff, and Matthew–as well as our patient patrons, Billy Claire, Karlyn Gale, and last but not least, all of the kids who brought their stuffed animals! We wouldn’t have have had the amazing night we have had or have done this without your support for this event!
