Following up on a lead that a resident in the Stage Coach neighborhood had an inflatable boat stolen from their driveway, Upton Daily has learned the following information.
The stolen inflatable boat from the Stage Coach neighborhood was not reported to the police according to Paula Deiana, Department Specialist of the Upton Police Department. Deiana did advise Upton Daily a car break was reported this week on Merriam Way, a neighborhood which was recently hit hard during a series of car breaks in July.
A Merriam Way resident reported to Upton Daily this morning.
I live on Merriam Way. A police officer was going to various houses in our neighborhood, asking if any cars had been broken into.
The house next door had a gps and other items stolen from a car in the driveway.
Upton Daily strongly suggests all crimes be reported to the Upton Police Department as the town continues to have issues with stolen property and breaks. If the police department isn’t aware of a crime, those perpetrating the crimes will continue to find more victims. Also remember to lock your cars and to remove any valuables.
