This weekend the big event will be in Mendon when Imperial Cars hosts “The Show.” The Mendon police are prepared to handle a crowd of up to 60,000 people with 100 police officers on detail. The event features, free rides, live entertainment, over 2,500 cars, fireworks and more. Parking is available in the field near the light on Route 16 in Mendon. A shuttle service will be provided from the lot to the event.
This weekend is the last days of Worcester Restaurant Week, where you can sample the food of some of Worcesters restaurants at a special price. You can find a list of participating restaurants here. The last night is August 17.
Nipmuc Youth Football and Cheer will be heading to Marlborough High School for the annual Jamboree where all teams play and cheer throughout the day. If you are heading out to the Jamboree take some photos to submit to Upton Daily ~ jennupton@yahoo.com
