The Worcester Shakespear Company presents the Merchant of Venices – 8 p.m. at Alternatives Community Plaza, 50 Douglas Rd, Whitinsville. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets-$25 for adults, $15 for Seniors/Students and free for children under 12-are available online at WorcesterShakespeareCompany.org or at the door.

Story Time at A Little Common Sense – 10:30 a.m. – Join Miss Lisa on the front porch for a fun storytime on Saturday mornings this summer!

Millbury Fire Department Field Day – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shaws Middle School Fields, 58 Elmwood Street, Millbury.  Fun for the entire family. Food, music, helicopter rides and Wally the Green Monster

Rock it for Rad at Red Rock – 12-4 p.m. – Barbecue with hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage & pepper sandwiches, chips, soda, race cars on display for children and adults to sit in, volleyball, music and games.  $15 Adults, $5 Children.  Max of $40 per family (parent/guardian & children).  All proceeds will be donated to Racing against Drugs (http://www.ncprs.org/our-solutions/prevention/rad-racing-team-volunteer-program.html)

Hike Upton State Forest – 1 p.m. – Joelle Vautour, the Management Forester for the DCR Midstate District, will lead a hike through Upton State Forest on August 26 at 1 PM.  The event is free and open to the public.
