Upton Cub Scouts Pack 132 is pleased to announce its upcoming Registration night/Open House on Friday, September 6, 2014 from 6-8 pm in the Memorial Elementary School Cafetorium. Cub Scouts is open to potential scouts from 1st through 5th grade. It is a wonderful opportunity for boys to develop important life and social skills while having tons of fun at the same time! Family involvement is also an extremely important part of Cub Scouting. In addition, Upton Cub Scouts Pack 132 is looking for an Assistant Cub Master. You do not have to be a former scout or involved in scouting at this time. Whether you are interested in being involved in an organization that helps 1st – 5th grades learn, grow and experience the outdoors, or if you are just interested in being active in the community and meeting other parents, this is a great opportunity. Summary of the Position
* Co-lead the Leaders/Committee meetings with Cub Master (once a month)
* Assist Cub Master in setting up pack meeting / events (once a month)
* Assist in coordinating and running pack activities (once a month)
* Help with recruiting new volunteers and scouts
* Have fun
* Average – 5 hours per month
