If you are a night owl you should be able to see the rocket launch.
Tonight at 11:27 pm, NASA plans to launch the LADEE (Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer) lunar orbiter. LADEE is designed to study the Moon’s thin exosphere and the lunar dust environment. The launch will be NASA’s first from its flight facility on Wallops Island off the Virginia coast, which means that most of the East Coast will be able to see it launches into the cosmos.
If you don’t feel confident you will catch the launch in the New England skies you can watch the launch live below. You can also learn more about LADEE here.
