Upton Heritage Day scheduled for October 5

Save the date ~ Upton’s Heritage Day is Saturday, October 5.

The annual event is hosted by several town groups and takes place on and near the Upton town common.

Upton’s Heritage Day is patterned after cattle shows which took place in town in the 19th and 20th centuries. The shows were celebrations and stopped sometime around WWII.

Some of the events will include the VFW Run to Remember, a used book sale at the Library, vendors on the town common, face painting, live music, and much more.

In the next few days Upton Daily will be publishing individual posts about all the events taking place in Upton on October 5.
