Upton’s Homecoming Weekend

If you ever drive past Nipmuc High School in the afternoon you know Nipmuc is always buzzing with activities. Drive past any time after 2 p.m. and you’ll be sure to see young love, friendships, kids coming and going, teams celebrating, and just high school kids being kids.

On the weekend of September 27, Nipmuc celebrated homecoming, It was a beautiful weekend.

Friday night the school celebrated with a gigantic bonfire… thanks to the Upton Fire Department. The fire was so huge it was still smoldering the next morning. The football team won their first game this season and the Nipmuc Student Council hosted the traditional homecoming dance, with Emmy Pirozzi and Nicholas Mignone named as king and queen. Wally Esker, Brett Alibozek, Autumn Morrice and Annalisa Bacci made up the rest of the homecoming court.

Here are some photos from homecoming.
