Open to students who will be 11,12 or 13 years of age on November 15, 2013.
The theme of the 2013-14 Peace Poster Contest is “Our World, Our Future.” Students, ages 11, 12 or 13 on November 15, are eligible to participate. Artwork must be no smaller than 13 by 20 inches and be larger than 20 by 24 inches, unframed.
All artwork must be the students original creation. All media accepted do not laminate entries. Three –dimensional will not be accepted. Nothing glued, stapled, or attached in any way.
The use of lettering or numbering on the front of the poster, is not allowed. The artist must sign the back of the poster only.
Artwork must be done on a flexible material, so it can be rolled. Do not fold the poster.
One international grand prizewinner will receive $5,000 and an award. In addition, the grand prize winner, two family members will attend the award ceremony at the Lions Day with the United Nations. The 23 Merit award winners will each receive $ 500.00 and a certificate of achievement.
Contest Deadline is November 13, 2013
Drop off is at the Mendon Greenhouse.
