BVT Girls Volleyball to Play in Division 3 Finals on Saturday November 9

On Thursday, November 7 the Blackstone Valley Girls Volleyball team battled Tri County and turned out a 3-0 victory.

Seniors Alana Thirsk and Emily Boulter played strong for the team. Alana had 7 service points, 4 aces and 20 kills; Emily had 13 service points, 8 aces and 25 assists. Junior Francesca Niro came off the bench and gave spark to the team with her serving and athletic play in a position she has never played.

The final scores – 25-22, 13-25, 25-17, 25-19

BVT finished their season 19-5 and Tri-Country 18-5.

The BVT Beavers will play Sutton for the D3 Championship tomorrow 10 a.m. at Hudson High School.

The BVT Beavers are ranked 14th in the division and 66th in the state going in to the final game. Sutton is ranked 9th in the division and 41st in the state.
