Santa is planning to visit Upton Tree Lighting tonight – Sunday December 1

uptontreelightingOn Sunday December 1 at 6 p.m. the Upton Fire – EMS Department will host a holiday tree light on the Upton Town Common to officially kick off the holiday season. The event is cosponsored by the Upton Fire – EMS Associations, the Upton Men’s Club, and the Town of Upton.

Santa’s top-secret messenger Elf has advised Upton Daily Santa is planning to pop by Sunday night to help turn on the lights. According to Santa’s Elf, Santa has agreed to take a few minutes to visit with the kids and hand out candy canes. This will be a great event!

This year six live holiday trees have been decorated and will be planted back on Town property for beautification after the holidays. The Fire – EMS Department has also decorated a large tree at the end of the Common with new LED lights.

The event will take place on Upton Town Common which is located near the Town Hall, United Parish, and a Little Common Sense.
