A total of 90 students, including several from Upton, were inducted into the Blackstone Valley Tech chapters of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society during a ceremony held on Thursday, November 14, 2013.
The following students were inducted into the BVT James S. Mullaney Chapter of the National Honor Society: Anthony Arrigo, Electronics & Engineering Technology; Derek Briggs, Electrical; Theresa Rook, Health Services.
The following students were inducted into the BVT Paul J. Sullivan Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society: Garrett Dinsmore, Culinary Arts; Emerson Mulhern, Auto Body; Brady Neyland, Electronics & Engineering Technology.

Prior to their induction Thursday evening, Superintendent Director Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick encouraged the latest inductees to think big when it comes to their potential impact on the world around them.
“At Valley Tech, we are proud of what our honor students have accomplished, eager to witness their potential and invite them to contribute their brain power to solve new mysteries to help our society,” Fitzpatrick said. “They represent the pipeline of the future.”
