The High School Band and Chorus are hosting a “Spaghetti with Santa” fundraiser on December 16.
Nipmuc Regional High School Junior Samantha Brower told Upton Daily guests will be treated to several performances by various Nipmuc musicians and groups, including both instrumental and choral. The dinner will include delicious homemade meatballs. The most exciting part is SANTA will be there. He has freed up some time from his very busy schedule to have his photo taken with guests at the event.
The Nipmuc Music Department is hosting the fundraising to help minimize the costs for students who will be performing in Montreal in the Heritage Festival. Samantha said, “The Festival includes a clinic with some of the best educators in the country and can really help our Music Department advance.” Approximately 100 members from the Nipmuc Music Department are attending. During the trip the students will also tour Old Montreal, experience Cirques Du Soleil, and visit Montreal Olympic Park. Samantha said, “The fundraiser will help every student pay for the trip.”

Tickets are $5. The “Spaghetti with Santa” Fundraiser will take place on Monday December 16 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. in the Nipmuc Cafeteria located at 90 Pleasant Street, Upton.
