Do you have a prom dress, homecoming dress, semiformal dress you will no longer wear and wish to resell or donate?

dressesDo you have slightly used prom, homecoming, or semi formal dress which you don’t plan on wearing again?

Are you looking to make a little money or donate to a great cause?

If yes, the class of 2015 can help you out.

The class of 2015 is hosting a prom/homecoming/semi-formal dress consignment sale in an effort to raise funds to support class activities.

How does it work?

Dress owners have two options. The first is to donate their dresses directly to the event. The second is to sell the dress through a consignment sale. In the second option the dress owners set a price they would like to receive for their dress. The class of 2015 will slightly raise the price and try to sell the dress for the dress owner. If the dress does not sell the dress owner will have the option to either have the dress returned or have it donated to the Salvation Army.

All dresses should be bagged and left in the designated box in the lobby of Nipmuc Regional High School. Those wishing to consign their dress should complete the “tag” providing their name, telephone number and the desired sale price and tag the dress with the information. Those donating dresses do not need to complete the tag.

The resale will take place at Nipmuc Regional Cafeteria on January 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
