Winter Weather Advisory Update

The National Weather Service in Taunton  has issued a winter weather advisory for snow which is in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Snow will begin to fall between 10 a.m. and noon tomorrow with heavy bands of snow moving in after  1 p.m. resulting in poor visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Snow will continue fall throughout the afternoon tapering off in the evening. A total of 4 to 6 inches has been predicted.

Commuters should be prepared for a messy and slow drive home. Parents should be prepared for the potential of an early release from school; on Monday evening Worcester announced they will be dismissing  school 2 hours early Tuesday.
