Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) reminded constituents on the Massachusetts Health Connector to re-enroll for health insurance, a requirement of the federal Affordable Care Act. To ensure continued health insurance coverage beginning January 1, 2014, Senator Moore advised constituents to reapply, re-enroll and make a payment by Monday, December 23, 2013 to avoid the risk of losing their insurance coverage.
“Due to new federal requirements, all current Health Connector members must re-enroll in order to prevent losing their coverage on January 1st,” stated Senator Moore. “It is important for members to re-enroll to maintain good health and to ensure proper coverage in case of emergency.”
