Clifford C. Crosby, Jr., 81, a lifelong Upton resident, died Wednesday morning, December 18, 2013, in Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health.
Mr. Crosby was born in Milford, a son of the late Clifford and Grace (Haynes) Crosby. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and had worked as an orderly at Westboro State Hospital for more than 20 years, retiring over 20 years ago.
He leaves one brother Earle Crosby and his wife Sylvia of Upton. His companion of many years, Marie Bowman, died in 2008.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Crosby family lot in Maplewood Cemetery in West Upton.

I’ve worked at the Blaire House for the past year and a half and Cliff always made my day whenever I went in to work. We’d always race each other to say hello first and whenever I’d win his face would light up and he’d say, “ohhh hi!” I can still hear his voice saying it. He is greatly missed.
