Pilot, the lost Shepherd mix, has been spotted a few times today in the same area according to Julie Uthoff who is helping with the search. Julie is the owner of Pawfect Life Rescue; Pilot was adopted from Pawfect Life Rescue about a month ago.
Pilot got loose from Lucky Dogs Day Care on Monday and her owners and many volunteers have been looking for her since. The Milford Patch is reporting Pilot was seen moving around the Fruit Street-Green Street-South Main Street area of Milford today. The Patch also reports the owner is asking anyone who may spot Pilot tonight to call her at 978-549-5047.
Those involved with the search are asking members of the community who wish to help to pass out flyers. Lucky Dogs Day Care has been actively involved in the search for Pilot and has flyers available for distribution; they are located at 49 Sumner St, Milford.
Pilot is afraid of people so don’t chase her or approach her. The best thing to do is call the owner and try to follow her without spooking her. It is also reported Pilot is very interested in friendly dogs. If you are out searching with your friendly dog on a leash and Pilot approaches, try to keep her interested in your dog and call the owner.
