Last night 10 people were displaced when a 3 alarm fire destroyed a duplex in Northbridge, luckily no one was injured. Upton residents are wondering what they can do to help. Here is some information.
Residents of #17 Arcade Street (Lebel/Lamere) – if anyone wishes to donate gift cards you can drop them off at the Northbridge Elemetary School. No fund has been set up as of this time.
Residents of #19 Arcade Street have set up a fund at Unibank: Lathers and Johnson Family Fund, 49 Church Street Whitinsville.
Rockdale Youth Center and the Grafton Lions Club have organized drop off locations for items needed.
The Rockdale Youth Center is opening up their space for any clothes donations for the fire victims. They are open 2 pm – 6 pm Mon-Fri they are located at 2219 Providence Road, Northbridge. They will only be accepting clothing.
Clothes sizes needed:
Womans: Size 4, 6, 8/10 and 14 pants.
Medium and Large shirts
Men: Size 30×32 and 32×34 pants
Medium and Large shirts
Boys: Size 14/16 pants
Large shirt
This is for both #17 and #19 Arcade Street.
The Grafton Lions Club will be accepting items from 11 am to 4pm on Saturday Feb 1st they are located at Brigham Hill Rd, Grafton, MA 01519 (508) 839-4893.
