Exciting news! Our renovation project to improve the library space will be taking place from Feb 24th to Apr 1st.

During this time, there will be no access to the Upton Library collection or seating areas.

We will be offering limited library services on the 2nd floor of the building on…

Tuesdays 10am-8pm

Thursdays 10am-8pm

Saturdays 9am-5pm.

You will be able to place and pickup holds, reserve museum passes, get information from friendly librarians, and access our wireless internet.

You can still return items in the dropbox, but no Upton items will be due or accrue fines during this time. (items belonging to other libraries still need to be returned by their due dates)

Photocopying and faxing will not be available, and we will not be holding Thursday story times.

All of our online services will be available, and as a CWMARS member, your Upton library card can be used at many public libraries, including Grafton, Mendon, Milford, Whitinsville and Worcester.

Our campaign to raise funds for a new circulation desk is going very well, thank you all for your generous donations! The new desk won’t be ready by the time we re-open, and we are still looking for local craftsmen to help us build it, so if you know a carpenter, please let me know!

Attached is a flyer with more information.

If you have any questions about the project, please ask Matthew at 508-529-6272 or mbachtol@cwmars.org
