Miscoe Hill One-Act Play Competition Results

On January 31 the Miscoe Youth Theater held their annual One Act Play Competition where the students are the directors and compete for several awards. This year five directors participated in the competition. Fire and Friendship walked away with four awards, including best play and best director. The one-act told the story of a  mother who survived the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire as a girl but lost her best friend in the fire. The mom tried to shield her daughter from her past but when her daughter gets in a fight with her best friend the mother decides to share her story.
