FLASH FREEZE EXPECTED INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS…
The hourly forecast on accuweather.com is indicating temperatures will drop into the 20’s sometime around 5 a.m. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory which is in effect from 10 p.m. this evening through noon Thursday. The National Weather Service has stated this has the potential to be one of the more significant flash freezes this area has seen. Roads and walkways may become very treacherous with icy conditions persisting into the morning commute.
