WCC Half Maraathon & 7K in Whitinsville 4/5 & 4/6

The inaugural WCC Half Marathon & 7k will take place in Whitinsville, MA on Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2014. On Saturday afternoon from 2-5pm at the Whitin Community Center, local businesses will showcase their products or services at the Race Expo. The Expo is open to the public and admission is free. The race will start at 10am on Sunday 4/6. Runners will travel 13.1 miles through the towns of Whitinsville, Sutton, Douglas, and Uxbridge before crossing under the Finish Line arch at the Whitin Community Center. 3 other events will be available for local runners too: the Half Marathon Relay, a 7k road run, and a 5k Family Walk. Long sleeve tech shirts are available if pre-registered by 3/22, with all runners also receiving a Finisher medal. Catered food will be available for purchase after the race (complimentary for runners). The WCC Half Marathon and Expo benefits the Whitin Community Center.
