The Upton Historical Society will sponsor an appraisal night Friday the 21st at 7:00 PM in the VFW Hall located at 15 Milford Street, Upton. The event is open to the public.
So check your heirlooms and yard sale treasures and choose some items you would like to have appraised or just learn more about their origin. Tom Tomaszek, the appraiser, has an uncanny ability to relate the history of objects and their makers. Even if you don’t have items to be appraised, come and hear great stories about the items presented.
The cost for appraisal is:
Members: $6.00 for one item, $10.00 for two.
Non-members: $7 for one item, $12 for two or a $3 entrance fee.
There is a two item limit.
The total number of appraisals will be limited based on available time. Pay for appraisals at the entrance and receive a numbered receipt.
Owners are responsible for their own items.
