What to do around Upton this weekend

If you have a 5th or 6th grader tonight Nipmuc’s Searching for Sunshine group is holding a Night of Neon social at Miscoe Hill.

5th and 6th Grade Social – Night of Neon – At Miscoe Hill  6:30-8:30

The Upton Historical Society is sponsoring  an appraisal night –  7:00 PM in the VFW Hall located at 15 Milford Street, Upton.  The event is open to the public.

Free Movie Night at Hopedale Unitarian Church – Frozen will be shown at 6:30 p.m.  – 65 Hopedale Street, Hopedale – donations are appreciated and concessions will be sold.

Rockin for Relay – 7:30 p.m. at The Millerville Club, 8 Lloyd St, Blackstone –  Finish the Fight against Cancer!   Music, Raffles, Pizza  and Fun, featuring Criminals and Beauty Queens performing your favorite songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and present. $15 at the door, must be 18 and over. For ticket information, contact Bernadette at inspirational2@excite.com or call 1-774-573-5007

Simply Seconds Consignment Bazaar –  at the United Parish of Upton from 9-2 p.m.  Do you need to clean out or rejuvenate your closet? The simply seconds consignment features ready to wear women’s clothing and accessories, vendors, and more.

9th Annual Grafton Fine Arts & Music Festival –  at the Municipal Center Gym Grafton – starting at 11 a.m. – all day event. Tickets are $5 per person.

Live Music at Tufts – Sarah Levecque and Peter Zarkadas perform live acoustic country-blues on Saturday, March 22 at 3 PM in the Varis Auditorium of the Campus Center at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, 200 Westboro Rd., North Grafton. Their music lives where Rock, Blues, Country and Folk find common ground.  This performance is free, open to the public and appropriate for all ages.

Mendon resident Michael Krager holds fundraiser to support the Jimmy Fund – 1 to 7 p.m. at Central Tavern Milford – food, games, raffles, all for a good cause.

Scooby Doo Live Muscial Mysteries – 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Hanover Theater Worcester

Mr. Nipmuc 2014 – Come support Nipmuc’s graduating class of 2014 and attend the MR.NIPMUC 2014 competition this Saturday, March 22nd at 7pm in the Nipmuc Auditorium.
