After a zany night of fashion, dancing, talents, and pageantry Nipmuc Senior Wally Esker was crowned Mr. Nipmuc 2014.

Senior Nick Mignone was the Master of Ceremonies for the all male pageant and orchestrated a dazzling and entertaining show. The night was hosted by the Nipmuc Class of 2014 in an effort to raise funds for the class.

The audience was entertained from the minute the doors open. A huge crowd pleasure was when the 13 contestants performed a dance routine to Beyonce’s Single Ladies.

Senior Wally Esker thrilled  the audience during the talent portion when he was able to catch marshmallows on stage with his mouth which were being thrown at him from the back of the audience. Senior Nick Demarzo’s made the ladies smile with his talent of “professional flirting” which included lines like “you make the best chicken patty” and “I’m wearing these glasses because you are hotter than the sun.”

Some of the seniors gave up their most creative pick up lines during the question and answer portion of the pageant. Watch out for this one ladies, “Your 65% water and I’m thirsty.”

For evening wear the 13 contestants walked the cat walk in perfect male model style. Most were dressed in a sport coat with a tie. They strutted their stuff, walked the walk, struck a pose, unbuttoned their coat, took it off, flung it over their shoulder, and walked off.

The contestants ended the night singing “Don’t Stop Believing.”

Contestants Nick Becker, Kyle Braile, Wally Esker, Mike Castellani, Pat Robinson, Justin Dauley, Jay Turner, Brandon Kong, Demetri Fox, Kevin Harris, Ethan Moeller, Matt Rode, and Nick Demarzo were great sports and made for a  fun night.  At the end of the night the judges crowned Wally Esker Mr. Nipmuc 2014.
