Mark your School Vacation Week calendars! On Thursday, April 24 at 10am, Upton Town Library will welcome an author visit from Jonathan Hall and his cat, Toto the Tornado Kitten! Learn more about how Jonathan, a Springfield-based EMT, found Toto in the aftermath of the June 2011 tornadoes in Western Mass which led to adopting him and writing two picture books about him. Come hear their story and pet Toto afterwards! Books are available for purchase at $10, all proceeds will benefit the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Sign-ups are necessary; if participants exceed library capacity event will be moved to Memorial Elementary School Media Center.
